Catalyst
Spring with its pleasures and blossoms arrived – the last exams were ahead.
Skipping a morning lecture, I went to the lake to prepare for an exam; there were plenty of time since it would be kept in the afternoon. I was sitting on a pier, reading. The sound of water waves gently dabbling against the wooden structure of the pier made my studying pleasant and more effective. The exam went well. I recall how the sound of water served as a catalyst for learning and comprehension.
Flowing water intensifies and nourishes our thought processes. Beside it, we think clearly – we are inspired. It is a catalyst for creativity and peace of mind. On challenging times, we gravitate towards it. Watching the movement of waves – sun rays bouncing diamonds - we generate ideas and solutions to our life’s small and big challenges.
With your loved ones, go sit by the lake, silently listen to the voice of nature. Is there any other place to be?
