A team led by John F. Mustard reports on Nature about how Mars was suitable for living in the past:
These results point to a rich diversity of Noachian environments conducive to habitability.
“Noachian” means the earliest geological era of Mars, between 4.6 and 3.5 billion years ago. Interestingly, the biblical meaning of the word is “of or relating to Noah or his time”, as in “Noachian deluge”. There’s an area in Mars named Noachis Terra, “Land of Noah”.
Ok, I let my imagination run wild. Noah’s ark was actually a spaceship. He built it in Mars. Because the Martian atmosphere was gradually turning hostile for some reason - by an asteroid impact perhaps, he rocketed in the spaceship with the animals to the nearest planet. Thus they arrived to the Earth.

ICE SUBLIMATION IN MARS - Images dated June 15 and 19, 2008, from NASA’s Phoenix Mars Lander display the process of evaporating ice. Compare those images, and you’ll notice that the ice lumps from the bottom left (Sol 20 image) have disappeared in the period of four days.
